Angela has co-facilitated PsychoHairapy groups in her salon on self-care practices. She offers a warm listening ear and a legendary scalp massage during her shampoos.

Dr. Monique Liston founded UBUNTU Research and Evaluation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a space to hold Black women's leadership in living, learning and loving towards Beloved Community for Black people and the world. She is a proud HBCU alum, representing THE MECCA b.k.a. Howard University. She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee researching the dignity of boys and men of color in Milwaukee, WI. She developed the Radical Accountability for Creating Equity (R.A.C.E.) through Dignity Framework as a process for organizations to deepen their commitment towards equity in their day-to-day operations. Dr. Liston was certified in PsychoHairapy in May 2019 and can offer culturally-informed mental health first aid in hair care spaces.
